Joining Go Low is done by using the JOIN button on the Go Low homepage. This takes you to the Terms and Conditions of use form which all users need to complete.
Fuel for the Go Low cars is paid for using an Arval fuel card which is found in each car with the key. This card is accepted at almost all petrol stations. If in doubt, please check with the cashier before fueling. It is not neccessary to keep the fuel receipt. It is the reponsibility of the person driving to leave the car with sufficient fuel for the next user.

What happens if I have an accident?
The cars are insured under the AWP Trust policy. In the event of a claim being made then the Team responsible will be liable for paying the excess and the VAT on the repair. If the third party (if applicable) is proved to be at fault then the excess will be re-reimbursed. The standard excess is £250, The Trust uses a company called Linkfield Accident Management to manage any accidents / claims. Details can be found in the vehicle along with a copy of the insurance certificate. If the driver has an accident or is involved in an accident they need to call Linkfield on 0845 7023518 to report the details. Linkfield will then liaise with the insurers etc. Linkfield may also be able to arrange a courtesy vehicle if requested. The driver or team manager also needs to contact the Lease Car Administrator, Alex Baines on 01225 371423 to make him aware of the accident ASAP.
If you are involved in an accident while driving a pool car on AWP business, you should:
• Stop and take care to remove yourself from further danger.
• If any person involved in the accident is injured, call for, or arrange for someone to call for, help. If possible do not leave the scene of the accident, although under exceptional circumstances this may be necessary to summon aid. If someone is injured the accident should be reported to the police as soon as possible.
• Be aware that stationary vehicle/s involved in the accident may be a hazard to other road users. If possible, arrange for other drivers to be warned in time for them to stop.
• Obtain the names and addresses of those travelling in the vehicles involved in the accident. It is also important to obtain the names and addresses of any independent witnesses of the accident.
• Insurance details should be given to injured parties, or their agents, and the police.
• Ensure the accident is reported on AWP an Incident/Violence Reporting Form.
If you’re involved in an accident where:
• Any person is injured
• Any vehicle is damaged
• Property is damaged
You must stop and give your name and address to anyone having reasonable cause to ask for them. However, on no account admit liability or blame either verbally or in writing, or make any offer or promise of payment. If the other driver/rider was, in your opinion, driving recklessly or under the influence of drugs or drink, inform the police immediately.

In the event of a breakdown contact the breakdown service provided by the lease company. Contact details are printed on the back of the car tax disc holder.

Can I use the cars for private use?
The Go Low cars are not available for private use at present. They can only be used to drive home in the situation that it would be impractical to return the car to its base. If the car is used for this purpose in other situations the driver may become liable for a tax charge.

The smartcards are used instead of keys to access the cars. Once a valid booking has been made on the Go Low site the car will unlck when the smartcard is held against the windscreen device. The key to start the car is found inside the vehicle in a small wallet. When the use of the car is ended the smartcard is used to relock the car and end the booking.

How do the electric bikes function?
The Go Low bikes are booked in the same way as the cars on the GoLow website. They can only be used by people who have signed a declaration of competence to cycle.
